The boiler is in and we are SO close to moving the brew system into place! We’re all about keeping it local…this 20 horsepower Cleaver-Brooks boiler was originally manufactured in Lebanon, right down the street from the brewery, and will be used to power the brew system with natural gas.

New floor is down in the fermentation area! Stay tuned for installation of the boiler and fermentation tanks…

Major breakthroughs happening here…as in breaking through 6 layers of brick to install a new door at the loading dock area.

 
Fresh coat of paint for the fermentation area! Next up is a new floor, then the tanks get put in place.
Another renovation find was this original bottle cap with the cork and foil still intact on the back! Dave came across it while sweeping the floors in the soon-to-be fermentation area, and it almost ended up in the trash before a closer look.
We’ve had quite a few interesting finds during the renovations, like this beam. After taking down a wall, the metal beams were exposed and this turned out to be the support beam for the original brew kettle. We can now confirm that the capacity
While we’ve been working hard on the renovations inside, we’re also sprucing up the outside. Still a lot of changes to come..but most of the scrap metal is down from the front of the building. (Swipe to see the before ➡️)
